陆母（赵亦）：“There are three forms of unfilial conduct of which the worst is to have no descendants. You and Tang Wan can no longer be married ，You have to get rid of Tang Wan（不孝有三，无后为大，你跟唐婉不能再是夫妻，你必须把她休了！）”
陆游（我）：“Tang Wan and I are in love with each other. We have made solemn vows of eternal love（我和唐婉两情相悦，我们曾经海誓山盟过。）”我紧握采枫的手。
唐婉（采枫）：“Please don't break us up. I love Lu You（求不要把我们拆散，我很爱陆游。）”
陆母（赵亦）：“If you don't get rid of her， I'll die（你不把她休了，我就死给你看！）”赵亦说着就要往讲台上撞。
我泪眼婆娑，只好撒开采枫的手，背离她。执笔写下了休书。
采枫哭着跑开了。
第二幕：
唐家。

第三幕：
沈园。
佑港牵着采枫的手，在亭子里的石凳（书椅子）上坐了下来。
我此刻也进来了。
唐婉（采枫）：“my dear，I would like to have a few words with Lu you alone（夫君，我有几句话想和陆游单独聊聊。）”
佑港便离开。
采枫给我斟了一杯黄腾酒（橙汁）。
陆游（我）：“I'm sorry. I can't kill my own mother，It hurts me too. Let's be loves，again in our next lives，（对不起，我不能逼死我自己的母亲，我也很心痛，我们下辈子再做夫妻吧。）
唐婉（采枫）：“I get it. I love you.（我能理解，我爱你）”
于是采枫离开。
陆游（我）：“Red crisp hands， yellow vine wine，
The city is full of spring scenery palace wall willow.
The east wind is evil， the joy is thin，
A sad， a few years away.
Wrong， wrong， wrong!
Spring as old， empty and thin，
A tear permeate a handkerchief.
Peach blossom fall， idle pool pavilion.
